A non-invasive inspection may also recommend further access, monitoring or specialist input before repair specifications can be finalised. Contractors should receive the relevant report information and inspect the property for themselves before agreeing their scope, price and responsibilities.

When Direct Remedial Works Save Money

If a clear defect such as a leaking rainwater fitting is already visible, a repair quotation may be appropriate without a broad damp survey. More complex, recurring or disputed moisture patterns often benefit from diagnosis first.
