Condensation and Mould Remedial Work
Cleaning visible mould does not remove a continuing moisture source. Depending on the findings, a proportionate response may include repairing defective extraction, improving background ventilation, addressing water ingress or reviewing cold-surface and insulation details.
No single ventilation product suits every home. A condensation and mould survey is available where a factual diagnosis and written report are needed before remedial work is considered.
What a remedial quotation should explain
Parkside Construction separates the diagnosed cause from the proposed work. The quotation sets out whether the scope concerns extract ventilation, air paths, a building defect, damaged finishes or a combination of measures. It also identifies work that depends on access, electrical provision or another trade.
Heating, normal ventilation use and moisture generation continue to affect indoor humidity after building work. For that reason, remedial work cannot responsibly be presented as a permanent mould guarantee under every pattern of occupancy and maintenance.
