PIV and Ventilation Improvements
A typical loft-mounted Positive Input Ventilation unit introduces filtered air into the home and can help dilute moisture-laden internal air where there are suitable escape paths. Its suitability depends on the dwelling, loft conditions, existing extract ventilation and the diagnosed cause.

Bathrooms and kitchens normally need effective extraction at source. Poor duct routes, blocked grilles, unsuitable controls and a lack of replacement air can reduce performance. A PIV unit does not repair those defects or stop moisture from a leak.
